I've just had a bill for a Fiat Seciento that I bought 2yrs ago...it's for 2,000€ for unpaid road tax leading up to 2013!!...I've paid the tax since I've owned it and only now this comes through and of course it affects my tax liability re business and private as well...they're fxxcking corrupt and usless
here...but I wouldn't live anywhere else cause there's always away round problems here you just need the right person!!...

Just to add to the "diary"

1 A Victor reinz gasket set

2 New Main and Rod bearings

3 Waterpump

4 VCU

5 A 2nd hand ZF4hp24 that I can have a play with, maybe rebuild as I know the one in her at the moment is a tad slack

6 Alternator

7 upper and lowerBall joints.


A pretty packet and a mish mash of stuff

Limited funds doesn't help..

getting there though..

Just did some interior re-build..

The rear LPG cover/spare whell cover is very tatty..



So after using some industrial strength adhesive..



We got some peg action!




And done.

Starting to look alot better.

Slightly less dead looking lol

That interior is Lovely!!

Another thing was the rear carpet was covered in crap..



And other foreign substances!






After a good scrub.




much better.

Smells fresher in there too which is a bonus..

Another fault thanks to my inability to store anything correctly.......

My rear tailgate carpet cover has warped..



Bastard.

Anyway - Nothing my 2 50kg Toolboxes couldn't fix,..



Should be flat in no time!!

Also Packaged up some parts to ship to Martin..





Got to put the BECM into a box and i'll send it off, hopefully this car will be running under it's own steam by October!!

Anyway I'm also considering giving my seat rails a re-paint..



They look a bit crap..

And sticky lol

First time iv'e seen side view back seats in a P38 lol...looking good...starting work on mine this week...and picking up another for free that's got paperwork problems..

It's an interesting one ...was rolled I'm told at 30k klm 10yrs ago and re-built but lost its documents\vin number so was left due to owner trying to register it as new and being Portugal silly money...the owner owns most of the valley here and all he said is take it away and give me half of what you get for it...
This is the one I'm working on next week...got an insurance co here who will accept paperwork so I can see what engine is like on the road to possibly stick in 101...

Meant to say once I get the free one I'm going to get my agent on to the paperwork...

looks like a smart motor..

Hopefully it was rebuilt to a good standard.

That 4.0 with a Cam and a good set of heads would go well in your 101.

Agree...will update on free one when I get my hands on it I think it's a 4.4? petrol...when the flat bed picks up mine to take for mot the free one is 2mins away
