Help

Hi there everybody I'm afraid you'll need to give me some patience as I have never been on a forum before. Basically I need a bit of help and advise, my TD5 engine blow up on the motorway is it possible to fit a tdi 300 or is it all the wrong management system ! I WOULD APPRECIATE ANYBODIES ADVISE ON THIS MATTER

Hi Dougie :welcome2: to landyzone

A thick skin is advised.

A 300tdi is NOT a straight swap for a TD5. It can probably be done but the wiring loom, ECU, engine mounts etc are all different.

What have you done to your engine exactly? There are a couple of TD5 engines on ebay at the moment for around £700
