hey guys

i need a land rover series 2-3 MUST be tax exempt even if it is scrap get it i'll only pay 80 quid for one must be a pile of ****e but must be a chassis and wheels and must be up to KENT dont forget i live in the forest

or if someone will take a motor bike even better i have a 1980 yz80 one of only 120 made rare as runs but needs plug and restoring its worth 130£ at moment even in bits so if any one has a land rover series exempt then great and yeh really

if its only a chassis and wheels - as soon as you add an engine and body, its tax-exempt status is likely to go.

Have you seen the value of scrap metal at the moment??
Even a bare chassis would probably fetch 150 quid at the moment while a whole vehicle gets 200-300 cash !!

Aye a series swb is 250 quid at the scrappers so yer 80 quid's takin the **** don't yer think?

1980 yamaha yz80 rare?they made 1000's of the bloody things!it's worth 1/10 of feck all.don't hold your breath on getting the chassis for £80.

me eldest ada yz50 wen he was 6 and they were,nt rare either an they only med em for one year
not as rare as an £80 tax exempt chassis anyroad

Never mind scrap prices. Cut the Bull****, Your after a Tax Exempt logbook.. And they go for £200-£250 each. So you friend are taking the ****.. And scrap round here is £200 a tonne for mixed steel.

But maybe there's a landy fan out there who would rather see their dying beloved go to a good home for a worthwhile restoration for free than to a scrappies for a coupla hundred quid - i know i would!

To rub it in, I bought a 1969 2a with Defender seats and bulkhead, 7.50 SAG's, 2.25 diesel engine. Recently restored.. All I have done is strip the paint down to bare steel, Painted inside and out, New seats, Overhauled the engine and went straight through an MOT no advisories. I paid £200..

It's possible but not likely!. Your going to need an extra few hundred. And scrap 88's are worth £450 scrap. Look on ebay for a ****ed 2a for £300 ish and you'll be lucky.

Perhap's.. But not likely. They'd probably sell it on ebay considering the prices they go for

can do better than that,pulled a 1968 pick up outta field for £30. quick check of the brakes two plates welded,12 mths mot thank you very muchly

guy's i love my yamy's i know exactly how many yz's were made my fecking dad was production manager for yamaha and i get my bike valued now it is in parts every year its the red and white and i tell ya that it is worth alot

ye wot ever like av ya ever seen a pee wee tek a rm 80 i think not, its the biggest pee wee i,ve ever sawand amazingly enuff it was bought brand new from a yammie dealer as a yz50 with 5 speed manual box not a semi auto 3 speed and strangely enuff they sold loadsa yz80s anurl back then,oh an wen did ya gerra logbook wen ya bought an orft roader motobike,

oh and as yer 80 gorra chrome frame cus if it aint it aint the limited edition they did in 81,sayin tha i,m sure it was a 125 anyroad ,jus cant remember the name of the chap who they was named after,but then again they only med 99 of them.
