sod the dealer bring it to me for 1500 quid

you will never get what you paid for it. first off you paid a dealers price which is always a lot higher than a private sale price. the only way to get anywhere near what you paid is to part ex it for something else.to be honest, 1500 is a good price for a lot less hassle i would be tempted to off load it back to the dealer. but then i might be tempted ter turn it into a hybrid

just a fort - if its only worth £1500 - an yu get that back from the dealer - yu shud be able to get another, more apropriate vehicle, fur the same sorta money. Maybe , as Odie suggested, a doozil one?

I know this is going to sound a bit naff,,,,,,,but I'm not going back to the dealer,,,,,,,,dishonourable git,,,,,,he could well sell it again for the same price my boy bought it to some other poor unsuspecting young un,,,,,,,,,,so will sell it for the £1500 going rate,,,,,,,,,and yes,,,,,will have to take the loss

With a good sob story like this you might get the dealer to give you a better deal - if it's only been a few weeks he may be more inclined to find you summat more appropriate and consider most of the profit from the deal already made (so long as he ain't a wide east laahndaahn dealer innit?)

Be prepared for lots of air-sucking-between-teeth, if you have a good tail between legs, pride swallowed, sob story who could resist (maybe that's why i never made it as arfur daley!)

sob story is right,,,,,,odenne,,,,,but unfortunately a factual story and as for preparing for a lot of sucking air in teeth I think I would probably ending up popping dealer in teeth so plenty of air could flow,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so no dealer negotiations possible due to angry/upset mother but I will try to sell for the £1500 and accept the loss and put it down to experience........can't put old head on young shoulders eh......?
