help, td5 making noise when turned off

Help,
Wife came home in the '99 TD5 tonight and when it is turned off there is a loud buzzing coming from the black box under the front passenger door (under the car)

. What is this and how can I stop it?
All help appreciated

thats the air suspension compressor under there. was the suspension still up and level?

Thanks, suspension up still, turns out it was the relay which I have now removed
