Help please. Timing question

It’s ask the expert time

I need the timing belt changing on my Landy so got sent off to get one. Which I accomplished lol

Now I’ve been sent off again to get an idler thing and a tensioner

When I asked for help with links on our Facebook page I got told I only need the tensioner not the idler thing

It’s a genuine Defender 200tdi J Reg Anyone help ?

which make belt did you get?

No idea on the make but it should be OK it came from the local dealer we always use. I just don’t have time to go back this week so wanted to order online

I thought you had an idler and a tensioner, so two different things.

in that case you had better ask for a pic from the peep that told you.

According to Facebook the Disco 200tdi had both. The Defender just the tensioner. So I’m just checking

i wouldnt if its a defender 200tdi as they only have a tensioner they dont have and idler ,disco and rrc do though

Yes it’s a Defender 200tdi.

as previously shown i think, it is err2530 and belt etc8550
