help on a question on a p38

hi just signed up to this to see if anyone can help me with me p38,the problem is when you pull off and kick down something make a loud grinding and click noise but not if you kick down gently hopefully someone can help me solve this problem and will be much appreciated thanks dan

hi dan may be you are trying to kick down to soon you have to be in higher gear (4th)than the k/down (3rd)or the like,just put her in sport .pj

the problem you have is the chain drive in the transfer box is slipping under load . I have just had the same fault. Either fit a new chain and sprocket set to your transfer box or fit another transfer box.

dunno what petes on .... probly pot !!!!!!! cant kickdown inlower than 4th gear ????????
