Hello...can someone help me please? I have a 2007 Defender 90 which when I bought it had 4 Kumho Road Venture MT KL71 tyres on it. Great aggressive looking tyres which made the car.
Recently had to replace the back left tyre with a BFGoodrich MT Tyre as I was unable to get the Kumho anywhere in the UK without a long lead in period.
When replaced, despite being the same size of tyre, the difference in tread made the car fish tail considerably at high speeds....in an attempt to sort this I bought another back right BFG which has only made the problem worse!!
I am also running them at c35psi which might be too high for MT tyres - mainly road use at this stage.
Do I need to buy another 2 tyres for the front to balance this out or is it the BFG tyres? Car is unsafe to drive in high winds and there is a huge amount of play int he steering.
Sorry for the long message.....can anyone help?
