HELP! Indicators/Hazards work, but don't flash!

So... half way home tonight my indicators/hazards stopped flashing. They still come on, but I have to turn them on and off manually to emulate the automatic flashing! The usual clicking can't be heard from inside the cab now either.

Any suggestions??

Right... having left the engine off for 5 minutes or so (while waiting for my girlfriend to come out of work), they worked when I restarted it and continued to work all the way home.

Faulty wiring maybe?
 
OK, yes, yes... relay, relay, relay...

but can relay's be intermittent or do they just go when they go?

My reason for asking is that it broke half way home, turned engine off for 5 minutes, and then it worked again!

Still relay??
 
clearly!

So anyway... I think i'll pick up a new relay and swap it over next time it happens :)

Someone said it's behind the fuse box that's kinda near my right knee, I think...
