Hello,
Was really hoping to get a land rover in the next year and as I don't really know anybody who knows anything about them I was hoping somebody on here might be able to give me some pointers on things like what I should be looking for in a budget of up to £1500.
I did see a nice 1978 (link below) series 3 109 for £1200 with 47000 miles on the clock, it seems to be in good condition but is It realistic for this price, and what sort of underlying problems should I be looking out for if any?

I would appreciate any and all advise given as I said before I feel that I need all I can get with my limited knowledge of land rovers.

I think you need to do a :search: on here first and decide what Landy you're after.
A budget of £1500 will get you a decent ish Discovery.

What do you want a Landie for?? off roading, main transport, project etc. we need more info cos my crystal ball is broken.

Okay well mainly for transport but i need it to be able to go off road fairly well as i live in a fairly rural area. And i will have a look for some on here thanks. =).
And robint i pasted the wrong web address for some glove i was showing my coach so your comment was a bit uncalled For.
 
What?? I was not being stroppy atall any way can anybody give me any pointers or links to a land rover that would fit my description.
