I joined this forum earlier this year, and have found the forum to be very useful so far for my very problematic Discovery (2018 model as shown in my pfp). I bought it for my wife last year as a replacement car for her Jeep. We bought it because we'd just had our fourth kid and needed a 7-seater, and we also have a large touring caravan.
We bought it from DV Trading in the Netherlands. It was imported from Italy. In hindsight I guess this was a red flag as we've had numerous problems with it so far including:
1. Leaking windscreen.
2. Side window motor mechanism (three windows, just waiting for the fourth one to break now).
3. Some rear lights not functioning (although turned out to be apparently by Italian design).
4. DTC on camshaft sensor and possible timing chain issue.
5. High oil consumption (discussed in thread linked in 4 above).
6. Stalling when idle (started happening today).
Other than that, it's a beautiful car and we love it, but probably going to buy a Jeep again next!
I live in the Netherlands with my wife and four kids (three girls, one boy) and we use the Landy and caravan to camp on dropzones where I do my hobby as mentioned in my About page.
Looking forward to sharing further woes with you all. Thanks for any help anyone can give me, and all the help I've received so far.
