Hi All
I hope this is the right place to ask a question about drive shafts. I have just replaced both front drive shafts on my TD4. I now have a wobble around 15mph to 30mph. In order to
make the job simple I split the shaft at the IRD and gear box end to assist getting the new splined end into the IRD and gear box. This may have been a mistake!! Is this wobble due to the shaft being unbalanced? If I disconnect it and turn it through 180 degrees will that cure the inbalance? Or are the drive shafts not balanced at all?
