HELP - Disco 2 Td5 cranking but not starting - Fixed?

if that happens it's 100% the sensor but if it doesnt happen it's not 100% that's not

OK, found why it is running rough. One valve spring broken and the valve has dropped.
Does this mean the engine is knackered? Eg would the valve have touched the cylinder?

It wasn't the valve but the injector I saw. Still not a cheap fix but a hell of a lot better than the valve!

OK, injector issue is solved and the Disco started the whole morning but is now back to not starting for a day now.
She was running perfectly but now she stopped again I can do the measurements etc.

OK lads, some progress today. After a long battle I got the bolt from the sensor out and changed it. However before I changed it I looked at the pin 36 and pin 13.
I measured absolutely nothing and I was sure I was measuring the pins as I removed the white plastic cover carefully.
Got the new sensor in, bang resistance!! Measured the sensor that came out nothing at first. threw it in corner and measured a bit later; resistance.
It can still be the connector but at least I know where to look now.

Now I will see if it starts all the time, if not the connector will be changed over the weekend. It is definitely in this bit.
