I've a 2007 90 pick up its my first landy, had an ifor top on when I bought it but would like a softer option, was looking at both exmoor trim 3 in 1 hood, vs the 'all wheel trim' equivalent
Orrrrrr do I just keep hard cab and go for a 3/4 back if so which is best?
Cheers Laura

I suppose it depends what you are likely to put in the back. Ifs its haybales etc what you've got

Style, well exmoor are quite sought after, pricey mind. That said, if you sell the ifor williams back on ebay you should get a fair amount back.

get about £40 for pig top on fleabay, the soft top seem quieter and warmer in winter though, as soon as i can i will be changing my truck cab for a rag top.

It all depends exactly what you're trying to achieve.
Keeping the cab and having a standard tilt on the back keeps you warmer in the winter and your interior more secure from theft with a seperate load area.
If you want top down cabrio fun in the summer then lose the truck cab and get a full length tilt, although it'll be draughty in the winter and thieves will soon put a stanley knife through the canvas to get at your belongings.
Catch 22 situation really ;):)

Mostly a wimp of an Irish wolf hound :/
Soppy sod found the ifor too loud
But I move a lot of plants and green waste as well so need to be able to remove occasionally so another reason wanting a lighter option to remove

Hey, I was pondering that issue, was thinking at least for now to keep can, I think by the time I've saved for a full length it's going to be winter (brr)
I was erring towards a temporary 3/4.
Are the cabs very tricky to dismantle? :)

they come off really easy, just undo the m6 bolts above windscreen and then undo the back corners and away you go but remember that your seatbelt mounts are on the cab, 30 mins work at most. oh and welcome.:)

tidy late model truck cab roofs fetch good money , espescially if the head linings in good nick, maybe flog it and go get your hoops and canvass the same day.

As the other guys have said, just a bit of time with the spanners plus an extra pair of hands to lift it all away, good point made about the upper seatbelt mounts though as they'll lift away with the cab.
Then you gotta make sure you tell your insurance company that you've changed the spec of the vehicle......why not stick with the cab for now, no wet ears from wolfie licking them and your seats'll stay cleaner ;)

Yes that thicker rubber matting they use in stables.
Actually I've still got one from when I used to have my 90, smells a little horsey, was gonna chuck it out but it's free if you want it.
