Hello all,
this site was recommended by my brother (barmatt) as the best place for Landy related stuff so had to pop along and say hi

I'm picking up a 1993 Range Rover Classic Auto (LPG) tomorrow and am rather excited. My family used to have Landy's when I was young (series I and a couple of IIa's) and I've always been a fan, so when I saw what seemed like a bargain LPG Rangey I had to go for it.

I'm hoping the cars as good as it looked after brief inspection, there's a bit of rust near the tailgate and bubbling starting on the wings but nothing major. However it was in a minor accident and needs the n/s rear quarter straightening, but hey its a rangey and I might not bother for now as its serviceable and gives it character ;)

I'll be taking it round my local garage for him to give the once over asap, but due to work I'll prob be doing a few miles in it first ..... fingers crossed for that, including me driving an Auto for only the second time ever .
I'm reasonably confident the motor is ok as the previous owner seemed very genuine and its only done 2k miles since the last MOT with no advisories.

I'll post pics as soon as I get it, but heres a link to the listing

Ps.I live in Lincs and will prob be after a bit of advice for greenlaning later :D

Thanks for the welcome folks.... as promised heres a quick pic :D

I picked up the Rangey last Sun and have done 500 miles in it so far and apart from the LPG not filling fully click here for post all is well.
I'm slowly getting used to driving an auto and something about 3 times the size as my usual motor (VW Scirocco)
