Bought a 05 plate last night and in need of some guidance as to which towbar to get...

been looking at PCT/WITTER/LR tow bar... amongst other just wondered what the gen feeling was on the subject.

looking to tow race car to track and back...

welcome too the craziest forum ont web earthling. . . .found the towright on flea bay twas good , all instructions un leccy bits fer a good price. . .but if ya git stuck lot er help on here. . . .:) :) :)
 
Don't forget that max towing limit for the Freelander is 2,000kgs BUT if you have the Freelander loaded to the gunnells, it comes down to 1,800kg becuase otherwise you exceed the gross train weight.

I used a witter fur mine - it did all that was required, but the hippoo didnt like it much - if yu have an auto - get an aftermarket gearbox oil cooler, coz they are known for frying the oil (and that is VERY expensive).
 
no mines the manual TD4 but will only be towing my little race car cira 550kg plus trailer weight and spare wheels. So should be ok on load.

Anyone tried PCT?
