Hi everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself really. Owned a 1995 Defender 90 300 tdi now for almost 5 years. Its my daily driver and wouldnt be without it, its uncomfortable to drive and ride, its loud and squeeky and leaks all kind of oils, but its mine and I love it.

Im 52 years young and like to tinker with stuff so a Defender is ideal for me, when I have the time.

The Defender has had a full rebuild on a Puma Galv Chasis and is in pretty good shape, always needs something though as I suppose all Defenders do.

Anyway, just wanted to say Hi and introduce abit about my self, hope I can be some use to people I guess.

Keep it between the lines

Heya and welcome :) the joke thread is a pretty good place to be when you are frustrated with working on your vehicle.

Looks like I should of just ripped the whole lot out and started again with the trailer wiring instead of being lazy... Lesson learnt I guess!! :)

I rewired my last sankey with new series 3 lights & used new modern wiring. My other one I
stripped the lights & looms to see what was what, I picked 7 wires out of the loom an re-done them
& kept a wiring diagram. Takes time but worth doing. :)

No point cutting corners, they know if you have. They will then decide to add more 'fun' to your day when you least want it.
