Hello chaps need HELP with new project Range Rover 3.5 v8 buggy

Got a Range Rover 3.5 project on the go and it's getting no spark ? It's a mess at the moment wires are everywhere can anyone give me a basic wire up to the coil and to the Distributor ? Will post pictures of project soon

Hi there are you running points,standard electronic or aftermarket electric trigger?
I've had a Lucas 35d distributor on points and that only had 1 wire to the + on the coil and earthed through the body
But now gone to accuspark electric trigger and there are two wires and they go straight to the + and - coil poles
Ps mine was a home brew too so I feel your wiring frustration anyway hope this helps

the live feed (+) wire goes to the + side on the coil. From the - on the coil take a wire to the distributor if using points. If using an after market system go online and they should be a wiring diagram.

Is their also a live feed from the battery ?

No there is no live feed from the battery.

the live feed must come from the ignition switch.
