afternoon, i just noticed that my 2002 V8 l322 has a problem with the heater, its only working on the highest setting, as soon as i turn it down it blows cool. any ideas?
heater only works on hottest setting

Made sure your slider on the dash next to the hazard light switch is set on the hot selection ?

That only varies the temp by a couple of degrees.....
Mine is set to cold permanantly and yet it will blow hot when the temp goes up, but is a few degrees cooler than the footwell or screen outlets...

Was making sure as I know he leaves his on cold
On my system I leave mine on hot all the time, you shouldn't need to touch it
If you turn down the digital temperature you will get cold air
If I turn mine to cold and turn the digital temperature control up the vents stay cold
I thought the idea of the center switch is so you can have cold air whilst the screen and footwell has hot etc... ?
So sounds like yours is working differently ?

no its not the centre vents, its the whole system, if i have it on the 28, then turn it down to 26 the whole heating system blows cold and doesnt get warm again. bloody weird
