Help !

Every so often I get a symbol on my heater display which looks like a book

When I check the Owners Handbook all it says is refer to dealer.

Anyone have any idea what it means

Thanks

The open book symbol indicates a fault on the HEVAC system You need specialised (read expensive) equipment to read and clear the fault(s) available from Black Box Solutions In Cyprus or you'll have to take it to either a dealer or an independent (indie) Land Rover specialist that has the required equipment. Most will have. Suggest you put on your location in your profile and maybe someone can recommend an indie near to you.

testbook symbol - means "take your chequebook"

Plenty of posts on here and elsewhere on the subject...it, like EAS faults, overheating etc has been done to death.

As MHM says...It means it is going to cost money whichever way you look at it.

With the warm weather I suppose we are going to be flooded with aircon posts from now on !!!

Do a search....idle bastids, I like many others are tired of writing the same old answers to the same questions all of the time. Are we your Butlers or Gofers???

means "go to local land rover dealer, hand over cheque book, bend over and prepare to be ripped off" or take it to an indy have the fault codes read and fix it yourself.
