Hi all. Can anyone tell me the best way of fault finding on my heated seats. The drivers side is not working but the passenger side is working fine.

I have checked the bars under the seat cushion and they all seem intact. Had a look up the back of the squab and there is like a mesh instead of the bars. I have looked on the rave cd for the wiring diagrams but can't really make head nor tail of them or even where to start.

Thanks

I don't know if they're fused seperately otherwise I'd say check the fuse first.

If fuse ok check to see if you have 12v at the seat. ;)

Could proberly be a broken element, there are two, or relay or switch but to prove the circuit you will need to use a multi meter and read a wiring diagram unfortunatly and Land Rover's wiring diagram does need a bit of understanding.
Do the switches light when pressed?
If there's a main plug/socket underneath the seat disconnect that to isolate the seat and check for voltage at the plug if that's ok then your problem is with the seat.
