Hello to all.
Fom all the things i got to bring my FL to Portugal the only thing i didnt predict was the headlights.~
In my country there arent many face lift around . And the ones we find they ask the earth for the headlights around £300 per headlight.
I need them to go throught the Inspection (MOT) here so i can make it legal. I know that the focus of the head light is the mirror part inside.
Some said that if we low the headlights down it will do the job...but i dont think it will.
Any ideas?
For now im with the eurolits stickersi have at least 6 months to find a solution.

Any ideas or headlights LHD ?
Many Thanks

Thank you Sanggapuss i saw those one too , but they only make for the Freelander 2.
Germany they are even more expensive, didnt look in Holland dough

@anubis757 Seeing as you are quite creative with your engineering, why not retrofit projector modules with a LHD beam pattern into the existing RHD halogen housings? For $45 these have to be worth a shot?

Those use a H1 halogen bulb, so wouldn't even fall fowl of any legislation regarding Xenon conversions.

It say its for h1 bulb so that means ....Fl low beam is H7 and high is H1 how can i do it?
so that means ony the H1 will work as low and hig beam?

The bulb is a different shape, but it will still light up, once the wiring is corrected.
The only differences between the H7 and H1 are the physical dimensions, electrical connections and light output, the H1 being about 30% less.
The new projectors hold the H1, so you don't need to worry about the physical fitting, however if fitting a different bulb seems difficult, then you'll struggle to install projectors, as you need to take the lamp unit apart, and cut the reflector to install the new lamps, which takes skill and understanding.

Thank you for your reply.
Follow my thoughts to see if Im right
The back part of the headlight needs triming so it fits flat for the projector.
Then I install the H1 bulb. On headligh the wiring i take the positive to the connector on the bulb and the negative can go on the ring around the bulb so i have ground, will it work?
Another thing if i connect the selenoid to the + and - on the high beam both will do high beam?
i mad a rough drawing ......
Many Thanks
