Hi, new to the site but have reviewed it a number of times for advice but really need some ideas after a stressful France trip!
I have a 2013 Freelander 2, 155k on clock, on the motorway a few years ago after a day of travelling, on final part, the car got lumpy on the motorway doing 130 km per hour. Was put down to dodgy fuel and cleared and been fine since, then this week done it again. Feels like sort of missing, slipping. Scared as thought would fail as also did a few times at lower speeds. Were recovered on low loader and local garage checked diagnostics they said nothing wrong, slight wobble at higher speeds but nothing to worry about. Crawled back to Calais without using cruise control around 2000 rpm and did have a couple of hiccups but nothing like what I felt whilst travelling around this week. Any ideas what it could be, UK garage did check after first time but couldn’t find anything either.. some posts mention sensors?
