Have just been through the MOT test and had to lower the headlamps as the beams were too high. Dipped beam still seems OK but main beam is a waste of time being too close. Both beams appear to adjust at the same time so can either blind oncoming traffic by raising for a decent main beam penetration or comply with the rules and suffer a crap main beam. How do you folks tackle this or don't you find it a problem? 04 facelift model.

Fit 90/100 bulbs, have run them for 2 years and been through 2 mots,
Know they are not road legal but have had no probs. Make sure the bulbs you get are ok with plastic lens

I have an 04 car and have not really noticed a problem. I suppose if I think about it, the main beam is possibly a little low but not that it causes me concern.
You could buy some additional driving lights (I have the LR pods) and point them further into the distance. I got my set of ebay and it came with all the appropriate wiring, relays etc. Works for me.

aint they got headlight adjustment from within the cab? - just wind em down - although to be honist - i get mine set at low level and wind em up normally.
