I know the sound system is the most important thing on your Land Rover :) But am getting a bit ****ed off in that I have installed 6X9's and a Fusion Tube sub in the boot and all wired up and working great. But the head unit I am using (a Song Xployd) with the RCA wires in the outputs makes the head unit stick out about 1.5". Which is really frustrating any one got the same problem or any ideas??? Thanks Ben

For a 300 series disco but much the same with a 200 and RRC.
If u have used one of the blue RCA patch leads, well they are to thick to bend and place in the radio housing be hind the radio, so if u have then use something else.
There is a void below radio, so make use of that and stuff any spare wires into it before fitting the radio and cage, the radio will slide into place assuming the unit is the same size as the old one.
That's how I fitted my Pioneer unit in place and that had a birds nest of wires.

Thats the 300TDi setup.
Yu can cut the matting from the bottom of the 200TDi radio housing and stuff the wires alongside, rather than behind the radio. Change the RCA's for right angle versions too.
