Hawkeye V5

I've just noticed that Hawkeye got upgrade to V5, adding (at least) access to climate control (HEVAC ?) and the BECM on the P38.
As anyone tested this new upgrade ? How does this new firmware fare against the Faultmate MSV2, at roughly half the price?

hawkeye is not vin locked . you can use it on any vehicle in the group you have unlocked. just about to send mine for upgrade.
by the way have you seen the online remote diagnostics for your series landy. ? see link below

I sent my Hawkeye back to Swansea to get updated to version 5, got it back by return of post. I even got a phone call from Bearmach to ask if I had received it back again. Good service!.
I have used all the modules and they all seem to work well. Clive at Bearmach tells me you should be able to use Hawkeye to re-sync your P38 becm so that could be useful. I have used the live data function on the EDC module. I have not used any of the actuators yet.
The only complaint I would have is there is no 'idiots' guide. Once again, Clive said he intends to produce a better manual for the p38.
Al in all I am very pleased with the Hawkeye and find it even more useful now that it has been extended with version 5.
