because all engins use a little water that is why you should check them weekly
do a search, i'm sure i've mentioned it when i changed mineanyone knows the part number of the 2 metal tubes for the coolant that are mounted from the front all the way back on the right side of the engine?
my Freelander is a April 2000 L series and just found some nasty rust where the tube goes under the turbo in the back of the engine.

Freelander 1996>: Engine: Cooling | parts and spares | www.lrseries.com | L. R. SeriesHi teddywood1,
I write about your post re the coolant pipe that goes over the gearbox from the 'y' connection. Mine has gone the same and I am after the part number. My situation is that I live in Cyprus and the Landrover dealer is fairly hard to deal with without a part number-also I could get it from the UK and save myself a whole bunch of 's.
Any help would be very much appreciated
Many thanks
Mick
