Has any1 tweaked there PSI box????

Hi all, just wondering if any one has given there psi box a tweak, mine is the model thats set in resin but it does have a small dial that must adjust summert, as it is it seems to "kick in" at about 2,500 rpm and im very happy with it.... but like every1 else id be happy for a little more power.

For those who may be thinking leave it alone etc etc i do agree... but cum on peolple... just a small tweak hhere and there couldnt hurt lol.

Sooooooooo, which way to i turn the wheel and has any1 done this??

Its a blue box that plugs in inbetween the injector pump, basically its like a remap but in a little box so you can take it off and fit to another vehical if you decide to sell ur rangie... it makes a slow dse or dt go like the wind... gives a v8 a run for its money lol

No wonder you had me there. We don't have the diesel in South Africa. They imported only the 4.6 H.S.E. Thanks for the reply.

I've got a "Diesel Bob" little black box on mine. You can take the back off and move the little jumper plug one of 7 settings.
I had a fiddle with it when I fitted it to find which setting suited the engine the best. It gave you maximum power but over a very short rev range or a bit less over a wider rev range.
Maybe that's what your little wheel does...

Thanks for that ,matey, i think im gona have to mark where the wheel is then adjust it... id just rather find out if any1 has done it befor i have a play.

Did try one I had bought from M&M, wow plenty more power but, and there's always a but. Fuel comsumption went down to 16.9 m.p.g.

I thought they were meant to improve MPG?
Did you remove the box and your MPG increase?

Depends how you use it, I average 24mpg brim to brim on mine with the power box

I must admit its made mine better on fuel, defanatly, even with the extra power. Its allways nice to tweak a little extra tho lol
