well here we go on xmass day my 200tdi decided to start playin games all the lights decided to turn on by there self now ive slowly lost most of the electronics with only the ignition indicators and one break light remaining nothing else works dont start with key and wont cross on starter all fueses are good with not one blown i live by frodsham cheshire if any one can point me in rite direction thanks
has any one come across this befor

check your earths,a bad earth can cause all sorts of weird problems

yes and there will be earths from engine/gearbox to chassis,they may need taking off and cleaning up

i had similer faults on my 200 defender,bulbs blowing,lights acting up,alarm acting up etc,it turned out one of my earths (gearbox-chassis) was corroded,put new earth wire on and all electrical faults were sorted

Sounds knackered mate.
Whip you're engine out, stick it on a pallet and i'll come over and collect it for my 88" series 2.
