As I'm steadily working through all of my little idiosyncrasies on the L322, I'm getting close to the end (for now). However, I have some really silly little niggles that I need to sort out.

Front foglights - I don't use them because I hate foglight wan***s but they don't work so they need to. I'd like to start really simple and check the bulbs but I can't seem to get the grilles out as the manual suggests, it just feels like I'm going to break them. Can anybody show me where you put the flat head screwdriver to lever the tabs please? It's a 2010 model car so it has this bumper:

Next up is the NSR door lock, I have 2/3/4/5 stage unlocking on that door only. When you unlock the car, you have to press the key several times some days and you can watch the button move up by a few millimetres at a time. I assume I need a new actuator there and if any of you have any advice on that front I'd appreciate it.

Lastly, the probably dreaded Gap tool topic. Man that thing is expensive! When we bought the Disco, I decided that I'd go for the iCarsoft max unit instead of a vehicle specific one and it has been brilliant, I can recalibrate my sunroof (and I have), monitor EAS etc but not reset the service interval as I had to get that done by a friend and am waiting for a response from the manufacturer as it should work. Anyhoo, I spent about £450 on that unit and now I'm faced with at least that again for a GAP tool that is LR specific.
I don't need it right now however I do want to turn on the DRL function on the Disco but I don't want to be stuck without one. Is there any kind of discount code for the forum or anyone selling a used one at all?

I'd really love to see one in action if there's anybody in the Maidstone area that would demonstrate it for me. Any advice on these would be gratefully received.

You can't get a discount code for the gap tool, you can buy 2nd hand but you need to transfer ownership and unlock it to your vin via the gap Web site.
So it is locked to the car? Are you saying I won't even be able to do both of our cars with it? That can't be right surely?

We have GAP for ours and it has already paid for itself.
They are vin locked for the full function but I believe they will do basic stuff on others, maybe read and clear codes?
But you can add another vin for a few quid.

All the basic functions will work but for more advanced stuff it's vin locked you have to purchase an unlock code for different cars.
To be honest I unlocked mine for my L322 and it didn't really do much more the basic functions are good enuff
