Harmon Kardon System swap

Sports fans,

I am looking at swapping out my current radio with multi CD in favour of a kenwood item. will the Harmon Kardon speaker system hook up to this or would I need to replace the speakers and amp too?

does anyone knoe if a wiring adaptor is made for this conversion?

no need for a wiring adaptor and the sub still works.

Hi Thanks for that . I found that all I had to do was power up the amp with a lead from the possy terminal and it all works great now I have my sat.nav-dvd-digi-tv all working through the amps speakers.

Excellent info thanks - I want to swop my Harmon Kardon head unit for a fold-out screen head.. I take it there's a reasonably standard connector block on the back then? So it should be possible to get a converter to for whatever stereo you use as a replacement?

Do you think the slot of the stereo is 'double DIN' size? I think it might just be smaller, looking at it
