Just pondering and trying fink out of the box for solutions:)

Maybe it does just need dragging round for a bit with a tractor to wake it up

I may try and get hold of a towing pole and drag it round town on the back of the disco in gear just to get some movement there and it's safer than a tow rope. After that it may start

If not it'll be garage and no doubt head off to sort those valves or something like that

All you need to do is put a rope on the car and tow it down the road, and whilst someone is towing you at around 15mph in second with at least half throttle stick yours in second and turn ign on then lift the clutch so start spinning the engine over.

This will get it revving to something like 1500rpm if not 2000.

It will strain the rope and tow car so be ready!

Normal cranking is 300rpm ish so this tow method will be much much better.

That will get it running even on 3 or 4 cylinders and then you can decide what's up with the dodgy valves, but once it's running it will help get things going properly.

FFS once it's running dont let it stop!!
