Thought things were going well. After sorting the battery drain..( RF receiver).. Out of sync probs twice ( thanks to j the Range) I thought things were going good, these P38`s take some beating I thought. Plucked up the courage to take out the wife in style. Parked in the busy town centre and jumped out, key fob did nothing, wouldn`t lock or unlock. Tried the key in ignition and message came up " engine immobilised press fob". Bugger thought I. It can`t be key gone out of sync because on these new fangled 2001 models putting it in the ignition re syncs it. I know I`ll try the EKA code. After 3rd try still nothing. By this time the wifes walked away in disgust saying," that things a bloody piece of s**t". Now I`m not being funny but thats grounds for divorce in front of any male judge. As a last resort I try the resync... key in door lock and hold lock button at same time unlock and hold unlock at same time, hey presto!!! Needless to say I was home before the wife who walked.. Range Rovers... The car of Kings.....

She's jealous and possessive is the Rangie! Mine never fails to fail when there's a woman in the car.:rolleyes:
