Hi Guys,
I'm looking for tips on improving the on road handling of my Disco 1. I do about 500km a week on snow/ice mixed road conditions on very windy roads. Allthough the disco is quite capable off road it spends most of its time as my daily driver, and keeps threatening to kill me by handling like a boat. When it doesnt want to tip over in a turn its trying to jump off the road somehow. The disco is a 92 model with no ARB's on standard sized spiked winter tyres. It has stiffer 300-340lb rear springs and procomp shox. I am considering is it posssible to instal arbs, I have heard of people doing this on their RRC. Or allternatively stiffer springs, I know this wont improve the offroad handling but it is my daily driver. I could off course slow down, but I often struggle to even do the norwegian (very low speed limits), so any tips to help me live with the beast would be much appreciated. I see that Paddocks sell a complete arb kit, does anyone know if this can be fitted on any disco (thjat doesnt as standard have arbs)? Thanks for the tips, cheers Jim
