Newbie question. Can't see anything similar posted already.

I have a 2008 2.2 HSE which I've owned since it was a few months old and now has 110k on the clock. I've noticed before that the handling gets substantially poorer when the tyres are worn. It gets rather squiffy with every little bump and ripple feeding through to the steering, bumps mid bend really unsettled it and understeering badly.

I have to say that the old set were rather more worn that I had expected but have had 26k to 29k out of every set of tyres. The last set (Pirelli Scorpian Zeros) lasted the least amount although the previous set did 28k.

The last few thousand miles I've increasingly thought there was something wrong with the suspension, so much so that I've twice had the dealer check the suspension for wear or problems. It has come back negative, but, on each occasion, they have torqued everything up and it has come back substantially improved. It has however only lasted a week or two. Hitting a pothole, bump, sleeping policeman restored it back to its wayward self which makes me think there is something wrong under there.

After the change and tracking sorted today it feels a whole improved, but, I'm concerned that there is still something wrong following the dealer having temporarily sorted it to a degree on two occasions.

Anyone else had similar issues or concerns?
