Ive taken it off to fit me nu steering damper(big round heavy thing).Do i need to put it back on, it was wobbling all over the place any how?

apparently they had issues with the axle casing cracking, which is why they fit them to certain axles.

can feel the engines vibration whilst at isle now.Might have another one put on then.
