Had a little bump

i accidentally reversed into a very large skip the other day (it was dark and reverse light stopped working for some reason)and its made quite a bit of mess at the back offside corner, was wondering where the best place would be to get a rear quarter pane,l outer wing and a corner capping ?

i think you should be able to get it reasonable with a hammer and a bit of 2x4 depends how fussy you are

well i tried it with blow touch and took to it with several tools but dint seem to do much, if you can see its like folded up like a s

Hope you don't use the 50mm ball without the pin through the jaw.

shame. I got a brand new complete genuine 110 nearside quarter hanging around doing nothing.

Remove the corner capping, clamp the side panel and then use a winch or a landy with a tow rope to tug the crease out. You may have to tap the panel while it's under tension to help get it straight. Thats all I did with mine and it was as bad as yours.

In accordance with Section 139 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 65 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, it is a legal requirement that skips placed on a public highway must be lit at night.
If it wasn't, speak to your insurance company.

Having recently put new body cappings on mine (complete novice) they come in one piece. If that body capping aint straight you will always take in water. It may straighten?
Price up the bits but it will be a back door off, roof off or propped enough to get the side off and drill the body capping rivets off.
I think you could do it in a weekend.... its worth making a nice job of it. IanNotts does parts or Paddocks, lrseries.
