Life often has a habit of interrupting our usual forays into the wild West of LZ.
Hi guys
So sorry I’ve not been in touch , indeed with one thing and another had a lot on my plate
Been going back and forth to the hospital , got to have back surgery again, there going to try and see if some medical cement will work to resecure one of my fixings that’s come loose
Am petrified as if they do the injection , I’m awake so they can see there not touching nerves etc
nothing been confirmed 100% yet , worse thing I won’t have my wife with me this time which will be daunting
Bless u as always for the kind messages and sincere apologies once again for not getting in touch
Can’t wait to start on the disco again , so can at least get my new drivers window regulator fitted and oils done
Is driving me insane being laid up like this
Thks again guys , always feels like a family here
Buy a smart phone you tight sod
Dont forget we want pics of the back op, be very very afraid when the doc puts both hands on your shoulders!
Window reg is easy, but getting the reg of the bottom of the glass is a toss, you need a really long thin screwdriver and come in from the top to pop the clip off then the reg just comes out.
Welcome back! Sorry to hear about the back but I am delighted to volunteer to take your place - fast!

Don't fancy that job, one bit. I had to replace the regulator and wire bits on the Volvo. It was a serious PITA. In the end I bought complete unit, with glass from scrappy.Lol, yeh i know , should get one really
Oh bloody hell, not the sound of the gloves snapping on and asking can u feel that or arnt the numbing meds working yet,
The clips that bolt onto the glass and regulator have snapped in half , so got a new regulator and also 2 x new clips
Window is currently being held up with a piece of wood and tape , I did buy 2 x glass suction handles which I thought will make life a lot easier holding the glass up, as I can secure them next to the trim which will hold the window shut and allow me to move the glass down to unbolt the broken clips
See I’ve also got to unbolt the bottom window glass runner before removing the regulator
Just can’t do anything really at the moment and is driving me insane
