Grrrrrr!

Please can somebody tell me why the boy at my local independent Land Rover specialist told me he could not set the market on my P38 with his auto-logic gizmo? The reason he gave me was that the BECM was locked (I now find out that this is the correct mode for it) and I would have to go to a main dealer to get it unlocked (which also from hours trawling the net appears to be wrong). I had been looking at the BECM as being the culprit but am now leaning again towards the fusebox!

Have a look out for Rick the pick, he is around here and other forums, based in Hove and does unlock the BECMS.
I'll try and find his number...good bloke all round.

Market can be changed from "Not Set" to "Set" on a locked BECM.
A locked BECM cannot be changed to unlocked with LR dealers Testbook.

Grrrrrr!
