Had a couple of 3095s and then a 3655 when I packed it up. Missed farming for a few years but you couldn't drag me back now.

Me neither. Or most that I speak to. Old boys stress about how they will fill their time without milking the cows twice a day. I see them a fortnight later and they look 30 years younger! :D

I have the best of both worlds, I still keep a few pedigree cattle, but they are 400 miles away, and my wife looks after them and sells them! :)

I wish someone would do a decent, easy to fit dash for a series 3. I keep losing stuff in mine.

I suppose the issue would be how to make a modern dash work in a Series 3.

You'd have to create something that is functional for today but looks like it belongs in the 70s or it will look terrible.

Used to bale about 10000 a year, of which 5000 were wrapped.

That used to make me enough profit to...

... pay for the baler and the wrapper.

You could try getting a few tupperware boxes with lids, and putting them in the little shelf. Quite effective at keeping bits and bobs separate.

That is the problem with farming. So much capital tied up in the kit and stock, it takes years and years to pay for it. Strangely, the hobby farming we do now is just as profitable. We only sell a few a year, but have almost no costs, the cattle just graze around, no fert, just a few hay bales every year, and the tractor and sheds have paid for themselves by now.

Hey I got a trophy last night from LZ for 'not running away screaming' after 10 posts.

Stick at it, you will get 173 trophies, although I am still not sure what, if anything, they can be used for.

If your posts were more likeable, you might get some more likes too! :):)
