Greetings from Cornwall.

Hello All,

Name's James, I live in Launceston, Cornwall. I drive a 2002 Discovery TD5 which is great apart from the leaky sunroof (fitted new seal- still the same) and the crazy idea of only unlocking one door unless you press the button twice :doh:!

My first Landy was in about 1984 it was a 1954 series 1, ODF 390, anyone on here got it now?

I've had several others- 2s, 3s, a Defender 90, (which were great when I lived on a farm) and a Freelander for a couple of years but I changed that for the Disco when I nearly burned the clutch out with a hill start towing a load of cows!. The Disco suits me fine now- great for 2 large dogs and the odd bit of towing.

well i was a norvern prick till i found the delights of Cornwall.. So hello from snozzle(aka beirut(have you seen our town)).

I have a nice battered disco 1 3.9 manual about to convert to lpg and a LWB series 3 for sale, though was tempted to make a 100 inch hybrid out of the series but don't have the room at home

Last time I saw it they'd demolished most of it (for the second time)!

I used to drive my 90 from Lanson to work there every day for 3 years, -great when it snowed on Bodmin moor
