Green Laning Near Solihull

A few of us are going to mee up next wednesday for a pint / food at the saracens head Corley for around 7.30. generally talk crap about our landrovers and talk about arranging days out. All welcome
 
Hi all, just become the proud owner of a 97 300tdi 90, would love to tag along if you guys head out for some green lane action anytime soon. I'm a complete newbie and a case of all the gear absolutely no fookin idea - so some gentle tuition (or beatings and **** taking until I get it right) would be most welcome!
 
I know its an old post but would love to know where this was? Im local just off the A45 and would love to find some local plasces to have a play.

Went out today with a friend around Solihull, West Midlands. We headed up to a School lane not to far from the NEC and came across the biggest ford i have ever seen, which was obviously great fun. We then drove south to lapworth and conquered Tapster and Tinkers Lanes, Tapster was a straight forward uphill Lane, quite narrow, dry and offers plenty of nice surface scratches in the narrow, steep Lane:D Tinkers was a little more challenging when attacking it uphill, i struggled a little with ground clearance so approached from the other end and was fine. Great day out but would like to go out with a group sometime if anyone is heading out in the area????

where is this lane in Solihull nec?
 
Looks like tinkers lane, was up there the other day but entrance to the lane looks blocked ( tree possibly on its side) so best to come around the other way!!
