All good by me fella ;) I've got all the gear, just no idea....:D

ive got all the school run gear and some idea lol i used to do mx and drifting so im looking forward to getting muddy not gonna lie i had a lot of fun just splashing in puddles on the way to work lmao

Likely to be weekends only for me chap due to work....Defender also isn't quite ready yet, got s few bits still to do before ready to play.

I'm sure between us all we can sort something out when we;re all ready. I know @gstuart still has stuff to do on his Disco as well

snap here with no scratching lol it's still my new toy!! And my daughter's just getting over me not being rich enough to buy an overfinch (snobby 13yr olds) so I have to keep it fairly pretty

I am being tourmented about the off road capability of my freenlander so im looking forward to testing it on a pay and play after some greenlining getting used to the car. im also a horsey person so rules are always there to be followed

i had my hippo at the last lz11 event and think there were some surprised people in how well it done,

just the restricted height caught it up a few times

got stuck but got myself out with a bit of a push

is all about good fun, doesn't matter if u get stuck, knowone judges anyone else

plenty around to help getting pulled out

u may have to buy the beers though , for who gets stuck the most :p:D

it's always done , in the best possible taste :D

I used to go into the Surrey Hills when I lived in Redhill.

There's lots of good lanes around the Dorking, Shear and Leith Hill area. There used to be a really good climb from Shear to the Pilgrim's Way. It starts with a water splash, then into a tunnel, then up a rutted, steep chalk hill to the Pilgrim's Way at the top. It was a good run, if it's still open of course.

Well I'm looking for my very first laning trip (non-scratchy !)....sorry, wuss alert ! :D

not at all, u and me both, also don't want to hear a hawthorne bush scraping down my bodywork

we should be able to find a non scratchy off road course

can then keep the location quiet between all of us, so it's not on an open forum

so that we can enjoy the greenlaning without doing damage or causing any bad issues with the locals

think the main issue for most of us is to find some none scratchy lanes

as we own decent landies , seem a shame to ruin them,

it's just a case of finding some either in surrey , kent , sussex

imagine with a collective we can sort something out

wondering if many of us have got tro permits , as they also allow us to go on them when open

they have links showing where the lanes are , also what dates where allows to use them, have gates so not open to everyone

also thought , there are some that decide to break the locks on the gates and run riot, council then like the reason able ones to advise them of reg numbers, which i've always done, ruins it for everyone else

take the numbers on the quiet and then oas them on, not fair that we get punished for other idiots

will be great if we can get together in the summer, bringing the family, dogs etc and then find a nice quiet pub for a drink and catch up

making it a regular thing between us

think it's also great meeting other members and also if someone is stuck in getting bits done to there landy to help them , in having a workshop day

will stop gassing now , lol

lol, know the hippo owners get there leg pulled but when greenlaning or at lz13 that never happens

only reason i said was once we find a lane to then keep it quiet , so it doesn't end up as a packed , overdriven and ruined lane

think something like a dozen of us should be ideal

all about all of us having a great laugh , know that's sounds like reaching for the sick bucket but great for a great together

don't think you need them in surrey just parts of kent

that's good to know

once we've found the lanes will then go out and look at them to see what there like

crossing them of the list if there a nightmare to paintwork or to extreme to cause damage

as we use them as daily drivers don't want to cause damage , just good some different terrain

even better is all different 4x4 s , find it good to see how the different systems work on different difficulties of mud etc

il be happy to run the lanes il try get to sheer tomorrow and have a jog

would be great if any of us find some lanes plse

maybe some in our local areas and can alternate between them

what ever any wishes to do i'm more than happy to go with

as it's all about being a collective group

That would be my approach as well. Discuss by pm, get people to recce the lanes local to them on foot.
Enjoy the run, post the pics after, no harm done, if anything embarrasing happens, no need to post about it.

If you look in Devon and Cornwall green laning fred, you will see that is exactly what we did. Nothing in public until after the event. Pretty sure the Yorkie boys and girls do similar.
