I've not been a LZ forum user for long (lurked for about a year!) nor a frequent contributor but I have learned loads about my Freelander from here. My lovely 2005 TD4 HSE auto is going up for sale this week as I've just bought a Touareg 3.0 V6 SE.
Needed a bit more power to pull a big caravan and after our beloved FL really struggled towing in Cornwall earlier this year, I realised it was time to change. Would have loved a Disco 3 but nice well specced ones are way out of my budget.
I saved a fortune in maintenance by using this forum so a big THANK YOU to everyone who contributes which makes owning an FL that little bit easier.
Kept the FL for 2 years and it that time, the doors never fell off
