Hi guys i have just bought of ebay a 54 plate (facelift) TD4 commercial. I havent even seen it yet as im at work on an oil rig. I have basically bought it to cart me the missus and my large dog around the country and also to use to drive to work when the weather is bad (nottingham to aberdeen) and for the added fuel economy. have i made a good choice...the others i thought about were, the X-Trail, Rav4, CRV.
Also is there anything that i should do / change to the Freelander when i get my hands on it?
Thanks guys

it depends on the condition of the vehicle. a td4 commercial is a good choice of freelander if it is in good working order. i would not ever buy one without looking at it first though.

It better have a prop because its advertised as a 4x4. lol. Also its done 128k and one owner from new ( a tool hire company) i kinda was thinking that these companies maintain their cars quite well?

my l-series commercial was company owned prior to me buying it. all was mechanically sound with it, but it was very scruffy but i liked that.
