Going topless in a defender

hi all looking to purchase a defender shortly.
Wondering up to what year can I go topless.
A few years ago I had a series 111 loved the canvas top.

Hi There,

I am not sure on there being a age limit or reason a new Landy could not go topless.

as far as i know a full tilt can be fitted to any though you cant remove door tops

I did find on mine,

Which has a 2003 TD5 body that the holes for the tilt poles were not in the cappings, so I had to make some bases for the tilt poles.
