Glow plugs burning out

Hi purchased a freelander 2 automatic 2008 none starter checked it over found all 4 glowplug not working would not light at all so installed brand new Bosch Fast Heat Duraterm Glow Plugs after testing them rebuilt and tried to start no look then fault code came up glowplug fault stripping it down again to find new glowplug pited at the end and every one not working again the car doesn't have a glow plug controller it's the type that works of the relay in engine fuse box has anyone had same trouble and what was fix please
 
It sounds like the glow plugs are being powered all the time. Have you checked to see if the glow relay isn't sticking on?
 
Hi thanks for replying l cannot find a glowplug relay only one book says is in the fuse box engine compartment and that just the same as all of them l put a volt meter on glowplug wireing loom turn key in and it reads 10.3volts on each connect pulled out the relay it says is for it R4 and voltage still on fuse1 reads 10.3volts turn ignition off still voltage take out key fob voltage stops the wires for the glowplug goes straight to fuse box my freelander 2 is 2008 td4 a hse model diesel if that helps
