Seriously need some help with this, tested compression today, front glow plug nut snapped off plug.
Tried an easy out and this snapped leaving it in the plug flush with nothing to grab onto!!!

I have thought about welding on a little nut to get easy out...out
ot drilling but I know this will need serious carbide tip drills...

Don't fancy taking the head off....!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

My 300 TDi started quite happily last winter at -9 degrees with no glow plugs at all - relay had broken and it took me a week to get a new one!

I'd want to get it fixed if it were mine, but hopefully reassures to know it's not a 'has to be now' job

snapped one in the vag yesterday :/

Will try whacking a hex into it and seeing if it will grip, else it's not worth taking the head off for.

Same happened on my last 300tdi.
Just left it in and never had any problems at all - even though temps at the time dropped down to -14. It'll be reet. :)

Why would you put a glow plug in your vag?? 😨😨
