Gearbox & Transfer box checks while out - R380, 300tdi

Hi,
Will be taking engine, gearbox and transfer box out soon (all in one hopefully) while they are out I will replace the clutch/fork/spigot etc etc. couple of jobs and oil leaks to look at on the engine but thought it might be worth checking the gearbox/transfer box again while they are out, what would be the things to check or look for, any ideas ?? both seem to be all ok, drives ok, changes gear etc all ok.

Or can someone recommend somewhere or someone that I could take them to ??

If both boxes are leak free and working and all splines look good just refit them and change the oils.

Nothing precautionary ??? What about any seals ?

if they arent leaking dont change them, except out seals on t/box

Thanks James, Kwakerman that's possibly/hopefully saved me a bit of time and expense.

It was just a thought while out to save having to remove them at a later date.

Might be an idea to grease your transfer box linkages while you have good access.
