RAVE states that I need special tool LST109 to set the correct distance between autobox control unit and cam.
Is this really needed when refitting the control unit? If so can I use anything else other than the LR tool?
Based on the problems I had during timing belt change for not having the correct tools I thought I'd better buy this one - but I can't find 'em anywhere in the UK and this one costs 120 dollars!!!

I don't know of anyone who would own such a thing.
There must be other people on here who have fitted a new kickdown cable???

Hi Dave thanks.

Is it really that uncommon to change the cable?
this site seems to have a heck of a lot of info on discos but nothing at all on this topic??
